JoAnn has been a Registered Nurse since 1987, when she graduated with a BSN from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. In 2000, she completed a Masters degree in Health Services Administration at Saint Joseph’s College in Maine. She has experience in medical oncology nursing and as a public health nurse working in home health. Since October of 2000, JoAnn has been the Director of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. She is responsible for planning, setting and meeting targets, budget control, and creating a culture of service and quality. For fun, JoAnn enjoys cooking with her husband, hiking, reading, seeing a good movie and time with family and friends.
