Rachel has more than ten years of experience as a health care attorney, the past three with McKesson Corporation, which is the largest pharmaceutical distributor in North America. She negotiates commercial transactions and advises the Company on regulatory compliance, including fraud and abuse, licensing, HIPAA and state privacy laws, and regulatory and compliance requirements. She is also counsel to McKesson’s Health Mart franchise and the McKesson Foundation, for which she serves as Secretary. Prior to joining McKesson, Rachel practiced law at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where, in addition to providing health care advice, she counseled numerous organizations in obtaining and maintaining tax exempt status Rachel graduated from Tufts University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Women’s Studies, and earned her law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
