Diana Taylor, RNP, Ph.D

Diana, nurse practitioner, educator and researcher, is a professor emerita at the University of California-San Francisco School of Nursing and formerly the Director of the Women’s Primary Care Program, the first women’s health training program in California. Until 2001, she was co-Director of the first Center for Collaborative Primary Care to advance inter-professional collaboration and innovation related to primary care education, practice and research at UCSF. In addition to over 30 years experience in education, clinical practice and research, Diana has participated in professional and community leadership positions nationally as well as in San Francisco. Locally, she was a member of the first Women’s Health Advisory Committee to the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and nationally she has served on boards of the Institute of Medicine & National Academy of Sciences.
