Lyssa is a Labor and Delivery nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about making health care, accurate information, and family planning services available to all women. After years of working in high tech marketing, she quit her job in order to pursue something more fulfilling. In 2003, Upon returning from 16 months of traveling throughout Asia and volunteering in rural India with women and children, she began nursing school. Over the past 20 years, Lyssa has volunteered for various agencies and her work has included assuring women access reproductive rights, assisting victims of domestic violence, and providing crisis counseling. She is excited and proud to be a part of the Women’s Community Clinic.
