Denise Bilbao is a volunteer physician at the Clinic. She heard about the Clinic from a friend and, after learning more about the mission and vibe of the Clinic, decided to offer her time as a Saturday volunteer. One of the main reasons she enjoys volunteering at the Clinic is because she feels she can provide a very thorough and relaxed visit to each patient since the Clinic allows a generous amount of time for each appointment. In addition, Denise has liked getting to know other volunteers who are all interesting women with either personal or career-based interest in women’s health. When Denise is not at the Clinic you can find her at her regular job providing medical care to under-served communities, and in her spare moments she tries to leave time for books, bike rides, friends and silk-screening.
