Kathryn Albergate

Kathryn has been a volunteer at the Women’s Community Clinic since March 2009. Since that time, she has been a client services coordinator, a health educator, a colposcopy health educator, and a summer intern. Her time at the clinic and past experiences working with low income youth in Mexico, advocating for the YWCA domestic violence youth program, teaching children with Autism, and becoming a trained Doula have lead her on a journey to realize her passion for women’s sexual reproductive healthcare. Currently, Kathryn is working on a Master’s Degree in Public Health at SFSU and does part-time research on a contraceptive counseling study through UCSF. When Kathryn is not working or doing homework you can find her dancing at ODC, buying fresh produce at the Alemany farmer’s market, or gardening in her backyard.
