Maureen comes to the Clinic Manager position as a past Board member, client services coordinator and health educator. She has worked in the field of public health education for the past ten years in a variety of capacities from developing and evaluating social marketing campaigns, facilitating workshops teaching critical appraisal skills to serving as a student outreach educator and counselor for human sexuality. Her public health interests have been focused on reproductive and sexual health. A San Francisco native, Maureen cut her teeth in the field working as an HIV test counselor at the Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic. She focused her graduate work in HIV prevention in Chapel Hill, NC where she completed her Masters in Public Health in Health Behavior & Health Education. When not at the Clinic Maureen can be found practicing yoga, biking around the city and wrestling questionable objects from her dog’s mouth.
