AIDS Walk San Francisco 2008
Join us on July 20th and walk to raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS treatment.
This year the Women's Community Clinic has being recognized as a beneficiary organization, which means that your donation will be doubled.
For every dollar you raise, $1 goes to the SF AIDS Foundation and another $1 goes to the Clinic.
That's twice the bang for your buck!! Join our team today!
Since the inception of AIDS Walk San Francisco in 1987, nearly $65 million has been raised for HIV programs and services in the Bay Area. Proceeds from the Walk benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, an organization that provides direct services to thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS, develops prevention programs for those most at risk of contracting the disease, and advocates for policy changes in Sacramento and Washington, DC.
For every dollar you raise, $1 goes to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and another $1 goes to the Women's Community Clinic.
Your donation is tax-deductible as a 501c3 charitable contribution (San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) Tax I.D. 942927405).
Hysterical for Women's Health!
450+ gathered at the Jewish Community Center on April 17th for HYSTERIA 2008: Redefining Women's Health, a benefit for the Women's Community Clinic. Guests mingled over delicious food and drinks as they out bid each other on silent auction items, including romantic getaways and private tours of the area's finest wineries. Yet the evening's highlight was Caroline Rhea's special comedy performance, which had everyone doubled over with laughter. The evening raised over $80,000 for the Clinic, which provides free health care and outreach services to women and girls.

Thank you to Kaiser Permanente, our Champion sponsor, and all of our sponsors for their generous support.
On April 2, the Central City Hospitality House will honor the Women's Community Clinic with the TenderChamp Award.
The TenderChamp Awards were first presented in 1987 by The Tenderloin Times, a Pulitzer Prize nominated neighborhood publication of Central City Hospitality House. The TenderChamp Awards recognize grass-roots community leadership for those making a difference in the lives of poor, homeless, and other marginalized people in San Francisco. Each year, a TenderChamp Award is presented to one individual, one organization, and one advocate.
