SAN FRANCISCO (September 20, 2010) - California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) has awarded the San Francisco-based nonprofit Women’s Community Clinic a $25,000 grant to provide free pelvic ultrasounds to uninsured women.
The Women’s Community Clinic honors its mission to improve the health and well-being of women and girls by providing free sexual and reproductive health services, outreach services, and health training programs.
“The CPMC grant will expand the Women’s Community Clinic’s ability to provide accessible, quality health care to underserved Bay Area women,” said Carlina Hansen, Executive Director, Women’s Community Clinic. “With the support of the CPMC grant, the Clinic will be able to provide a new service to better serve our clients and meet the expanding needs of our community.”
