Arneta Rogers,
Policy and Advocacy Fellow
Arneta is new to the Bay Area from Chicago, and is truly excited to be the Policy and Advocacy Fellow for the Clinic. She is an advocate for comprehensive, accessible and culturally appropriate health care for all women, and she looks forward to using public policy to leverage these goals during her time at the Clinic. In the past, Arneta has worked on issues of minority health and health disparities for the National Medical Association and she spent time as an intern in the health office of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy. Arneta is currently leading a group of high school students in east Oakland in an advocacy campaign against the sexual exploitation of youth in their community and in a larger global context. Arneta is an avid traveler, whose favorite day involves scourging the city for old soul records and cooking dinner with friends.
