Tara has been working in the nonprofit sector for more than 10 years, joining the Clinic in 2005. Tara’s passion for social justice and her commitment to building sustainable programs for underserved communities fuels her work at the Clinic. She is inspired daily by the dedication of her fellow staff and volunteers and she feels extremely lucky to be part of such an amazing community. When she is not at the Clinic, Tara volunteers as a whitewater river guide for Healing Waters, a Bay Area non-profit organization that provides outdoor adventure opportunities for people with AIDS and HIV and she serves on the Advisory Board of Root Division, an arts and education non-profit organization in San Francisco.  When she is not working or volunteering, Tara enjoys spending time exploring San Francisco and the beautiful Bay Area with friends and her adorable dog, Chester.
