Ladies Night
Once a week, we offer Ladies Night in collaboration with local service agencies in the Mission District. The goal of this collaboration is to enhance the physical, social, emotional, and economic health of women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in San Francisco’s Mission District. The evening serves as an access point from which Ladies Night workers can begin conversations with women about their drug using practices, sexual activity, and general health and well being. Together, this group of staff, volunteers and participants are building a sense of community among the women being served so they feel empowered to help themselves and each other.
Ladies Night is a project of the Women’s Community Clinic, Homeless Youth Alliance, BAART, Care Through Touch Institute, and Mission Neighborhood Health Centers.
