Volunteer Clinicians

Thank you for your interest in the Women’s Community Clinic’s Volunteer Clinician Program.  The Clinic is currently in a very exciting transitional phase of growth and expansion of services. We will not be recruiting additional clinical volunteers until June 1, 2012 as we plan strategically for the future. Thank you for your patience and continued support!

Join other licensed health care providers and donate your time and professional skills to our Clinic:

  • Spend more time with clients
  • Provide free health care that is defined by women, for women
  • Mentor the next generation of health care providers
  • Continue learning in a grassroots community clinic environment

Here’s an opportunity for you to provide free, respectful quality care for women. You’ll be able to spend an average of 30 minutes with each client, which includes time to really ask and listen to what’s going on in her life. You’ll also receive hands-on experience in harm reduction health care and client-centered women’s health services. You’ll volunteer side-by-side with our Health Workers and have the opportunity to mentor this next generation of health care providers.
