WAHT Fellowship

The Western Addition Health Training Program (WAHT) is a two year health career paid learning program for African-American women from San Francisco.

The program has three main areas of concentration:

  • Health career development and training
  • Professional mentorship
  • Community outreach and collaboration

WAHT Program Fellows are paid staff members of the Women’s Community Clinic.

Meet our current WAHT Fellows

Thank you for your interest in the WAHT Program. We have completed our 2011 WAHT Fellowship recruitment.  Our next cycle will begin Fall 2012.

More About WAHT

In continuing the Clinic’s dedicated history to providing empowering and educative care to women, WAHT was launched to specifically address the health care needs in the Western Addition, a predominately African-American neighborhood in San Francisco.

WAHT is focused on increasing career opportunities for women of color in the health professions while increasing the amount of outreach and services the Clinic provides to Western Addition residents.
